From our work
We work with UAE clients from our Riyadh office, with engineering by our team in Islamabad. Dubai is only a short flight from either, and most projects run perfectly well on video calls and weekly builds you test on your own phone.
Apps we've built for the UAE
- CareTech app for an Abu Dhabi facility management company: customers pick a service, add photos, track the job to completion and chat with the team, in English and Arabic.
- VR Real Estate, a virtual reality experience for promoting Dubai property in realistic 360° views, built with our studio partner.
What UAE apps usually need
English and Arabic. Dubai's customers are international, so English often leads, but Arabic has to be just as good, with a right-to-left layout designed properly.
Payments. Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus buy-now-pay-later like Tabby or Tamara for retail. We set up the gateway in your company's name.
Service and booking flows. A lot of UAE apps are about booking something, like a cleaner, an AC service, a car or a table, and tracking it. We've built that flow many times.
WhatsApp. Customers expect to reach you there, so we link the app and WhatsApp together.
What it costs
A focused first version is usually an estimated $400 to $1,000 (about AED 1,500 to 3,700) and six to eight weeks. Marketplaces and multi-sided platforms cost more. See the service menu, or tell us about your app for a fixed quote.
Questions we get in Dubai
Do you have an office in Dubai?
No. We serve UAE clients from our Riyadh office, with engineering in Islamabad. Calls are in your time zone and you test the app on your own phone throughout.
Can the app be in Arabic and English?
Yes. We design both languages from the start, with a proper right-to-left Arabic layout.
Do you build one app for iPhone and Android?
Usually, yes. Most of our apps use React Native, so one codebase runs on both, which keeps the cost down.
Who owns the app?
You do. It's published under your own App Store and Google Play accounts, and the code is handed over.
