Ali Zafar & Co. website home page
The website we built for Ali Zafar & Co., an Islamabad accountancy firm.

You can get a website in Pakistan for almost any price, from a few thousand rupees to several lakh. The difference is in what you get: who wrote the words, whether it's fast on a phone, whether it brings in enquiries, and whether anyone fixes it when it breaks.

Typical prices in 2026

From a software house, built properly:

  • A business website of five to ten pages, with your services, about page, contact form, WhatsApp button and Google Maps: an estimated $200 to $450, about Rs 56,000 to 1.26 lakh, in three to four weeks.
  • An online store with products, cart, JazzCash, Easypaisa, cards and cash on delivery: around $250 to $500 (Rs 70,000 to 1.4 lakh).
  • A web portal with logins, dashboards and roles, like a booking system or a customer portal: from $800, depending on what it does.

These are the ranges on our service menu, where you can build an estimate yourself.

What changes the price

Who writes the content. Writing good pages about your business takes time. If you provide the text and photos, it costs less.

Design. A custom design costs more than adapting a good theme. For most small businesses, a well-adapted theme is fine.

Online payments. Each payment method needs setting up and testing.

English and Urdu. A second language, especially a right-to-left one, adds design and setup time.

The yearly costs

  • Domain: a .com is usually a few thousand rupees a year; .pk domains cost a similar amount.
  • Hosting and business email: for a small site, a few thousand rupees a month or less. We set up domain, email and hosting for an estimated $25 to $60.
  • Care: updates, backups and small changes, usually $20 to $60 a month. Sites that are never updated are the ones that get hacked. We wrote about what happened to ours.

What to ask before you pay

  • Will the site be in my name, on my domain and hosting account?
  • Can I update text and photos myself?
  • Is it fast on a phone? (You can test any site with our free website check.)
  • What happens if it breaks after launch?
